Body and Movement

In Baraka, we understand the body as the territory in which life consists of in multiple dimensions. When exploring one’s geography we can find marks of what we do, what we think and what we feel.

The physical activities we offer at Baraka propose to develop the consciousness in order to inhabit that territory and learn how to transform it.
To do this, we focus on one’s attention, breath and movement and use it as tools in our work. These ingredients come together to produce the alchemy that allows us to raise awareness, and thus provides us with leverage in how to be humans that are united and in tune with what we do, feel and think. Our aim is for people to come out of our classes with a sense of body positivity, open-hearts and a calm mind.
