Mindfulness can be understood as being fully aware and attentive. Specifically how to be thoughtfully present in the current moment. It tries to teach how a person may focus on the present moment in an active way, trying not to interfere with what is felt or perceived at that moment.
BARAKA launched it’s “meditation school” more than 20 years ago and has continued to be pioneers in Mindfulness at a state level. Since its opening, BARAKA has been dedicated in researching the different potentials and benefits of mindfulness, especially in four areas: psychological well-being, mental health, labour and education.
Through our Mindfulness trainings given to our instructors, more than 300 people, throughout 9 promotions, have joined our school, which has contributed to a great expansion of Mindfulness in our territory.
